Benefits of the course

"It‘s a whole different experience sending an email in English to a business partner abroad – from just writing a letter at home that only the teacher will ever see." (Peter Hiller)

"The project helped me in several ways: working in a team over a longer period, distributing tasks just like in a “real” company, taking responsibility - and also the consequences, if team members haven‘t done their “homework”." (Sonja Kemmler)

External Feedback on the PELLIC website

In the ELTACS (www.eltacs.eu) Master Trainer Course on the Moodle platform, one task was to familiarise Master Teacher Trainers with various projects with various online tools and website. One of the questions was:

Q6: Have a look at the following weblinks.
Choose one and write a short summary about it for your colleagues:

It was very interesting to find out that the majority picked the PELLIC website to comment on.
A number of participants tried out the demo on the VLE and thought it was very inspiring.

Comments on the PELLIC website submitted by Teacher Trainers in the discussion forum were:

"PELLIC is great!"

"Hi, I am glad to read that you also liked PELLIC"

"I also find the information about EUROLTA and PELLIC quite interesting and useful. I even tried the demo course on the Pellic website and I found it very useful as I currently teach business English for students in Mangerial Administration and Secretarial Work. I will check this website on a regular basis and I'm also thinking about joining the on-line course in the near future."

"I agree with you about the PELLIC project - it looks most attractive (what I could see browsing the DEMO). I bet both teachers and learners find it useful and relevant to their needs. Congratulations to the authors - the partners that you know personally."

"Searching for information I discovered a very interesting project – PELLIC which made me think of starting to develop an online course for practicing business communication skills in French in the future. I even tried the demo course."
